    Wilco's kits

    I have done the wilco's golden ale, it was very nice and great value (£16) for money. Come out clear as a bell and I worked it out as a FG of 5.2%, to which my head concurred to the next day.

    Good to hear, I went for the cheaper option of 454g of treacle and a Kg of dark brown sugar. :drink:

    Sterilising

    +6 for thin bleach. If you sterilise in the bathtub, move some of the toiletries around and crack on to the missus that you also cleaned the bathroom whilst you were in there!

    Stout with treacle

    Hi all, I am going to knock together a stout on my next batch and was going to lob in some treacle as well as dark brown sugar. Could anybody please advise me how much to put in? I have heard of people only adding in a couple of tablespoons. How much is too much?
