I've currently got my kegs and taps outside, perfect serving temperature.

I foresee things getting too warm in a month or so, I'd like to make a kegerator for 4x 19l corny kegs and 2kg CO2 tank.

I've been looking for second hand one on gumtree / FB for a month now but not seen anything suitable. So looking ay new.

What height should I be looking at?

I'm assumimg 155cm total height is too small?

Not many that would fit 4 kegs and a CO2 tank. Perhaps keep the gas out of the fridge?

Right. So I'm picking up a 400l freezer at the weekend for £80. Win.

In the meantime, I've looked in to controlling. Everybody uses inkbird controllers. That's fine. But to save myself £30, I remember I had an PECO Electrim mash controller from way back. It can be reprogrammed from a heating controller to a cooling controller. I found this out accidentally years ago. Anyway, I've figured it out again and posting in case it can benefit anybody else who happens to have an old Electrim EB1D digital mash tun controller and wants to use it to control a Keezer.

instructions to access programme mode here:
https://files.ekmcdn.com/pecoservices/resources/other/eb1d-e31-module-instructions-and-settings.pdf

1. Access programming mode by pressing and holding down the P button for several seconds until "SLS" or "LS" is displayed. Press P again.
2. Press "P" until you see "rHC" or "HC" being displayed.
3. Press the down or UP arrow to change the parameter from "H" (heat) to "C" (cool).
4. Press "P" to save again. Don't press any more buttons to exit from the menu.
5. Test by setting the SP (set point) to a value higher that ambient. You should hear the relay click on. Change temperature again to a value lower than ambient, and you should hear it click off.

Keezer done. Didn't get the big, new freezer I was hoping for, ended up with an old Electrolux, probably not much life left in it, but hey ho, £50. Still plenty of room for four kegs, can get a fifth one in if needed.

Pretty simple, 6x2 frame, four taps, controller, CO2, tried to keep tubing as neat as possible using 10mm pipe clips. Fan and some painting to finish it off.

I must wire a fan into my keezer at some point, but have been saying that for years. What did you use?
I've a USB powered 120mm fan ordered from eBay, £10. Three power settings, going to mount it on a bracket towards the bottom at the RHS. I've hole drilled for the cable, just need the fan itself.

Fits like it grew there!!

Yes, sorry your message wasn't included in my reply.
Yeah I thought so. Its a bit chaotic in there at the moment. I was planning to change all the 3/8 line with 5/16 as it's more flexible.

However I have gone a bit extra on the two nitrogen kegs. They are individually temp controlled with a plant germination heat mats and kegland thermal jackets so I can't set them to to 9-13C for serving.
