Brewing ramp for rye malt ..ramp is required ?

I want to make a RYE IPA...with 17% Rye Malt

Should I do a temperature ramp?

What temperature ?

and for how long?
 
This is what I did recently. Seems to have worked well. 10% rye. If higher than this you'll have issues lautering and sparging and will need some rice hulls.

The 50c will help. I like 55c / 30m

But question for the op. What are you concerned ed about? Gloop, flavour or enzyme activity?

I made the rongoteus rye beer from brewing Nordic, used a Belgian yeast and for my sins did a schierlinger rye double decoction mash.
I'm not sure I enjoyed the challenge!
I can't find the link to where I read about it though.
I'd go with a step mash
