I have had my Drone a couple of months i haven't flown a lot so i am still learning but think my video editing has improved i don't go in for flashy detailed start and end screens and text etc its all about the video for me.

If you have a big screen watch in full screen, the video is shot in QHD (quad high definition) a display resolution that measures 2560 x 1440 pixels

Roa island (second video in playlist)
Dave Myers lived on Roa Island for many years.
Its at the Southern most point of the Furness Peninsula in Westmorland and Furness.

Brilliant, is the canal still used? When I was back packing in UK i had a girlfriend in Barrow in Furness, Emily Bishop. Do you know her, is she married?

  • Haha
Reactions: Stu
No, Ulverston Canal is the Shortest, widest and deepest canal in the UK and 1916 was the last time a vessel used it.

No pleasure craft? Seems such a waste. The locks seem to be in good nick.
No the swing bridge that is roughly half way along the canal hasn't moved in many years
The lock gates were also replaced with concrete many years ago.

It was
Looks to be good fishing in the canal.

It was very good and popular many years ago Clint.

The canal is 1.25 miles long and on weekends they had competitions that would see every peg along it's length taken but as numbers dropped off over the years stocking also did leading to a vicious circle, weeds took over and became unmanageable which finally killed it for most anglers, we still get a few course fishers but it's the huge Carp and pike that most anglers seem to be chasing these days not the huge bream and tench we used to be made up with when we caught them back in the day.y

Reports of big carp too...I'd be all over that!
@Clint

Zombifying on YouTube and other channels from laptop. I don't like watching TV though my wife has lots of subscriptions to Netflix and other providers, I guess it is cultural
Also, I like hunting, fishing, spa in the gym. Gym is not a hobby - I don't like exercising, but you need to maintain yourself
Going around, mainly the UK, and walk around new suburbs
And I do a bit of prepping - food and safety staff for 3 months, otherwise it become hoarding :D. Not sure if it is a hobby or my unconscious reaction to stress

Big birthday tomorrow..
Well after 70 all my birthdays are bigwink...
So treated myself to a wetsuit for sea swimming/paddling.
Pictures to follow if Mrs. Matt comes along to hold my towel..
Aberdeen, if you're wondering.

Blimey I have a 5/3 down here in cornwall, I'd need a 9/7 up there. 🤣

Nice one, I have never done any edeting before I got the Drone, I watched a couple of Capcut begginers guides and it wasn't too difficult to pick up, having said that this isn't just a begginers editing prog there are loads of options I haven't even looked at I can imagine if you were a keen photographer or video maker the free version would still have enough features to keep you coming back.
