So I decided to get a pressure fermentation unit - the Fermzilla all rounder.
The main reason was to do oxygen free transfer to kegs but also interested in fermenting under pressure for lagers to shorten ferm times and reduce esters - not that I have noticed any!
I was wondering what temp can I go up to for a good sound fermentation. Do I assume the higher range of the yeast involved, In this case it would be Saflager 34/70 - or should I avoid the higher temp range. I assume the pressure should be around 15 psi or should it be lower.
Anyone else dong this process with any tips? any help gratefully received.
