returning to the world of homebrew, been dabbling on and off since around '84 when all we had was Boots for homebrew, and the library for information with books printed in the 50's, tried to re-kindle the interest about 15 years ago but it still didn't quite hit that sweet spot for what i wanted to drink, then the craft beer scene happened and i discovered IPA's and session ales and my world got alot happier.
still learning and still trying different ales and wines, got into pressure fermentation and the noise ( which annoyed the wife) isn't an issue now and the beers I'm starting to make are much closer or better than the shop bought stuff.
got a few IPA's under my belt I'm happy with, and trying a porter now in my 30l King Chubby, also got a Rapt Pill running ( who doesn't love a gadget)
really need to get a good rose wine sourced similar to the "barefoot" Zinfandel rose to keep the missus happy,

anyhoo that's all as a "hello" from me to start, i read more than i post so ready to absorb any info from the hive mind here.

(Psst ... if you've got any new tricks to share, don't have to be 'bout beer, do tell us?). ("Us"? I really mean "me") (who you talking to now ... not you! Now go back to sleep.).
