I'm brewing Triple and I want to package it in 330 ml Stella bottles.

The vol range for a Triple is listed as 2.5 to 3.5, I'd like to use 3 vol.

What is the maximum number of volumes you have used in 330 Stella bottles?

Will a 330ml Stella bottle withstand 3 volumes??

Thanks All.

Never used little Stella bottles, but I've used the 660s for lager and they've been fine. Remember these are pretty rubbish bottles designed to hold pasteurised or filtered beer and, also, they're green which will give no protection against ultraviolet light playing havoc with your beer.
If it was all I had, I'd take the risk, remembering there is a risk. Keep them in a box to keep the light off them.
Its no good telling someone to throw them all away and buy 60 stubby bottles of Duvel, but those bottles are much better.

Unless you store your beer on a window-sill,, I'm yet to be convinced that the colour of beer bottle glass makes a damn of difference.
I don't think Uv passes through window glass. I don't think you can get a suntan through a window. I understand it's the fluorescent lights in shops that do the damage.
But I don't know I've never experienced this , so called,, "skunking".
But why add another risk if they can be kept in the dark?
