There is also another gizmo that would be handy, a flat plate that would support the neck while filling. Similar to this but flat..

I just hold the wine bag up, put the wand in the neck to the base and fill with wine ( or beer ). Replace cap and then ease out any retained air.
Perhaps a touch of ascorbic acid as well to mop up any oxygen. Although you can condition with priming in the bag for beer but you would need to vent some gas.

Google shows lots of images for "double bottom pouch" or "stand up pouch " but not any uk suppliers.

And these look really useful...

Hmmm.. not that straightforward.
I have some that are assembled already in box that I refill.

Made a holder 'thingy' for refilling, without removing from the box.

10 minutes, a plastic can side and a pair of scissors. Just makes it easier to fit and stops it waggling about. Slides on from the top.

32mm if you fancy a go.

Looks good, you are refilling through the tap?
I take the tap off and refill through the opening and then put the bag back in the box. But this approach does require holding throughout.
How do you wash the bags and sanitise if you don't disassemble?

Found this..

Bag in Box BIB Connector Black Easy Way to Refill Transfer or Empty Boxed Wine Bags https://amzn.eu/d/0FpyDLM

For me BIB is a convenience option, why make your life hard by taking them apart every time & all the risks that presents. TBH mine don't come apart well. So I have always filled through the tap with a rubber adapter.

My real change is to try using them for beer.

I will wash out with water, and store with a splash of vodka. The original 'no rinse' sanitiser 😁
