I want to really like this, but it's fairly average. Some nice deep rich molasses flavours, but just lacking the Joie de Vivre that you get with the Belgian Trappists.

A surprisingly good house white at a Mezzes restaurant.
From Aldi. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything called YB before, I don’t mind it, was expecting more bitterness.

The weather here is sunny, the wine is good and reasonable priced and the food excellent (and I may be mildly intoxicated on house wine and raki. Seriously every restaurant seems to give complementary Raki at the end of the meal I’m not sure if my liver can take it.At Gatwick awaiting our flight to Crete. We’ve had a good afternoon at a pub with BBQ and live music. I had several pints of Adnams Southwold. Home now and finishing the afternoon with cheeses and port.
