Not cynical at all. A reasonable conclusion based on prior experience.Scores to be uploaded once 'back to base' - later today if they are traveling now?
'Aiming' to have scoresheets uploaded by end of the week...
Could be cynicism but doesn't that all sound a bit familiar?

Bear in mind that "base" is Cornwall and its a long drive from London...and I assume that picture is from a social media post made today....I'd be surprised if it happens. If he still has to enter all the scores and placings he wont be wanting to do that after a long drive. If the scores have already been entered then it just takes a click of one button for them to be live.
I'm suferring from that old adage...
Fool me once...shame on you.
Fool me twice...shame on me.
Well...I messaged the organiser directly and was told not 58 minutes ago that the results should be posted tonight. Was posted at approx. 1:30pm today so probably a fair assumption it won't be done today then as I'd imagine if it was just the one click to go it would have been done already.
Doesn't look like there will be a Brew Con again? -The website is gone and nothing posted since October.
Love & Beer was run last year, and The Malt Miller was in attendance, it was a great event, meeting lots of folk who love great beer.I believe that is correct, for this year at least. It's part of the reason why the Malt Miller are partnering up with the Craft Beer Channel for Love & Beer festival in a few weeks.
Just a shame it's in London. Over £100 on a train plus similar on a bed for the night. Best save my pennies for 2025.Love & Beer was run last year, and The Malt Miller was in attendance, it was a great event, meeting lots of folk who love great beer.
This year they're involved more in the organising and planning, reason for more involvement is its a lot of work for Jonny and Brad to do on their own, and of course being able to add more home brew to it is a good thing.
From my experience attending events which are focused on beer such as Love & Beer and GBBF you get to meet people who love beer and its an opportunity to let them know home brewing isn't as hard as many fear, and that the results are way better than they could expect, which in turn can only add to growing the home brew community.
Bought some tickets to London on Tuesday the day they came out for the end of October and it was £24 on a split ticket there for the Saturday and £10 on a single for the Saturday, it’s not bad if you can book far enough in advance.Just a shame it's in London. Over £100 on a train plus similar on a bed for the night. Best save my pennies for 2025.
