Hi all, really sorry if this is absolutely stupid or if it's been asked before but... could a central heating pump be used as a transfer pump? Obviously clean.

Great point, was just thinking pumps, mindless....

Brass and plastic pump heads also work. It didn't have to be stainless.

CH pumps are circulation pumps so not really designed or intended to be pumping any head pressure, but you might get away with it. Need to be careful with what cleaning solution you use too as some brewery cleaners don't react well to brass.
