Leffe Blonde clone: experience of using cloves and vanilla?

Thanks. I was hoping you'd say that, although I do have some more belgian yeast here, I planned on keeping that for the next lot.

Leffe Blonde clone: experience of using cloves and vanilla?

Cheers. Its been a week in the fermenter and SG is down to 1.008 which is not a mile off 1.010 as the recipe states. It looks like is actually settled at that, as it's not moved much over the last few days. It's expected as the OG was a little down on spec too at 1.055 vs 1.060. So...

Leffe Blonde clone: experience of using cloves and vanilla?

Just brewed this a few days ago. Yeah the 500g took more than a few jug fulls to melt. Hop spider seemed a bit useless in retaining the hops, so I think the idea of adding the sugar to it is a great idea. Currently bubbling away rapidly in the fermenter. @Mash Monster how long did you leave it...

    What did you brew today?

The Malt Miller's Leffe Blond Clone. I suppose it was Sunday I started, but left to cool in the fermenter until yesterday. Woke up this morning to a familiar "gloop gloop" from the air lock. This evening its producing so much Co2, that the airlock isn't locking anymore. Reckon its the candi...

    Electric cars.

My Ioniq6 is on 3 years 0% PCP. Gauranteed minimum future value. I'll ride out the EV storm until they decide whats going to win. Its just VHS vs Betamax all over again. As i said earlier, I'm saving more than £50 a month on road tax, and my " fuel costs" are less than 25% of what they were. For...

Leffe Blonde clone: experience of using cloves and vanilla?

Bought it from TMM. New keg to go with it , so next reasonably sunny day, I'll be on this.

    Electric cars.

Is possible, but the electrical drag created will render it useless. Works well in an ICE car, where it does create the same drag, except you use fuel to overcome the load. In an electric car you would generate less electricity than it takes to compensate for the extra load. Similar to your AC...

    Electric cars.

I love my Ioniq6. Saving me a fortune as I only charge at home. Sometimes its free, as there is so much excess electricity, I get paid to consume it.

Leffe Blonde clone: experience of using cloves and vanilla?

How did it go? My Neck oil turned out great, after letting it age for about 8 weeks in a cold room. Now looking for ideas, and I reckon this might hit the spot.

    What are you drinking 2024.

Oil for the neck. Turned out pretty good. 6 weeks of corny conditioning might have helped.

Oil for the neck, from TMM

So I've tried this about 6 weeks ago, and it didnt sit right. Thought I would have another tr of it after " dryish January" and its pleasently surprising. Very hoppy, as neck oil is, i suppose. But its definitely conditioned well. Quite pleased with myself to be honest and very grateful for...

    First brew from all grain

This was a learning experience. Something went wrong somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it. It was very chemical tasting and undrinkable. Next be was much better, still not 100%, but definitely drinkable.

Oil for the neck, from TMM

So dry hop has added some expected clouds, but it tastes and smells great. In the corny now for conditioning under Co2. Fingers crossed

Oil for the neck, from TMM

Brewed this the other week, and its now fermented out, pretty much bang on where I expected it to be. Yeild was a little down, but I think this isdue to my inexperience of the BrewZilla 4 temperature and mash levels. First time using the protoflac too, and was amazed at the slightly alien...
